Minimum Call-Out Charges
Most professional services have a minimum booking requirement, usually 2 to 3 hours per session. This ensures it is viable for the cleaner to travel to your location and allows enough time to achieve a high-quality finish rather than a "rushed" surface clean.
Fixed Price vs. Hourly Rate
Regular Cleaning: Usually billed at an hourly rate. You pay for the time the cleaner is in your home.
Deep/End of Tenancy Cleaning: Usually a fixed flat fee. This is because these jobs are "outcome-based"—the cleaner stays until the specific checklist is complete, regardless of how many hours it takes.
Cleaning Supplies & Equipment
Standard Practice: SCSSLTD provides all eco-friendly cleaning solutions and high-grade equipment (hepa-filter vacuums, steam mops).
Client Preference: If you prefer the use of a specific brand or your own vacuum for hygiene reasons, most services are happy to accommodate this, though it rarely changes the base price.
